Emmanuel Tay, Albany High School Student and Member of Sgt. Henry Johnson JROTC Battalion, to Share Experiences in Recognition of Military Families Month

ALBANY, NY – Emmanuel Tay is an Albany High School student and member of the Sergeant Henry Johnson Battalion of the school’s Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC).  A native of Liberia, Emmanuel will discuss his journey and what drove him to serve as a member of the JROTC.  Emmanuel will also share how his diligent work ethic and leadership skills helped him to be elected as the Governor of American Legion Boys State, a week-long 1,000-student program that teaches teenagers about government, civic duty, and leadership.
