City Boxing Program
This program teaches boys and girls instructional boxing techniques. It
also teaches them discipline and increases their strength and
flexibility for overall fitness. There are two boxing program locations in the City of Albany. Information on both of these locations is listed below.

Quail Street Location

Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday 1:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.
The City of Albany's Quail Street Boxing/Training Facility opened in March of 2000. This facility offers an after-school boxing program for children ages 12-18.
Lincoln Park Location
Lincoln Park Bathhouse (Morton Avenue and Delaware Avenue)
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday 1:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.
Mayor Gerald D. Jennings
and the City of Albany’s Department of Recreation opened the new Youth Fitness Center at the
Lincoln Park Bathhouse in April of 2007. The Youth Fitness Center is a state-of-the-art
fitness center that will offer boxing, jump roping, weight training,
cardiovascular training, and a dance fitness program. The Center is
open to boys and girls ages 7-19.
