Communications Division
Director Jeffrey Cunningham The Albany Police Department Communications Division is located on the second floor of 170 Henry Johnson Blvd. The Communications Division if the Public Safety Answering Point for the City of Albany, handling all Enhanced 9-1-1 calls. Additionally, the division handles all non-emergency requests for service and administrative calls. The Communications Division dispatches all calls the the Albany Police Department and Albany Fire Department and also oversees the radio and telephone systems on a citywide basis, and the Computer Aided Dispatch system on a countywide basis, including the City of Schenectady.
