The Department of General Services Forestry Division is responsible for all aspects of trees related issues on public right of way. Included in this are tree planting, dead tree removal, stump removal, tree trimming and numerous other concerns regarding City Owned Trees.

Street Tree Planting Program

To encourage planting trees, the City will underwrite one half of the cost of purchasing and planting a tree. The trees are to be planted in the city right of way in front of or on the side of your home. Trees are available to be planted for the spring and the fall planting, while supplies last.
