Comprehensive Plan Board

The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan Board (CPB) will be to provide guidance and the foundation for the development of the first Comprehensive Plan for the City of Albany, as well as make recommendation to the Common Council for said plan adoption.

The Board consists of thirty members who were appointed by the Common Council.

Specifically, this foundation will involve:

• Development and review of the Request for Proposals;
• Facilitating the framework for the Comprehensive Plan;
• Ensuring adequate public outreach and input;
• Development, review and modification of goals, objectives, policies & programs.
