Pursuant to Executive Order Number 202.1, issued by Governor Cuomo on March 12, 2020, and advisories issued by Federal, State, and Local officials related to the COVID-19 virus, the Albany Water Board (AWB) will convene its May 22, 2020 meeting by telephone conference call. Overview
The Albany Water Board ascertains what sources are most available, desirable and best for the supply of pure and wholesome water for the City of Albany. The Board manages the Feura Bush Water Filtration Plant, local water supply reservoirs and surrounding lands. The Board also operates the City's water and stormwater infrastructure and sewer collection system that transmits sewerage to the county for processing.
Mission
The Department of Water and Water Supply will deliver a reliable and high-quality supply of water to our customers.

- We will collect and safely convey wastewater to treatment facilities and comply with all of our regulatory permit requirements and conditions
- We will provide a safe work environment for our employees
- We will provide courteous, responsive, and professional service to our customers and a work environment that is supportive and respectful of each other
